Our Growth and Journey Since 2017
Our Genesis
Joseph’s Dream is the brainchild of Jacques Naude, a South African entrepreneur, relocating from France to Portugal after a successful professional sporting career.
He and this team embarked on an eco-journey in 2017 with purchasing a stretch of abandoned land in rural Portugal. The restoration of land and first almond plantation started in 2018 with a subsequent steep learning and growth curve.
Orchard Progression
The first Almond blocks have reached year four in 2023 and the yield is in line with our projections as outlined in the documentation.
Our Dream
Our dream is to turn abandoned rural land into productive and profitable organic farms, owned by families from around the world and transforming thousands of hectares.
Our Plantations
Our plantations of organic almonds and walnuts show a sharp growth trajectory as more investors come on board. Our milestone of 300ha will be reached in 2024 and take us one step closer to the cooperative and factory we will be establishing.

Our USP
