2. What we do

Joseph’s Dream provides land sourcing, orchard development and farm management services in central Portugal. That includes finding and vetting land, preparing and managing applications for agricultural funding, designing and overseeing the planting of orchards, organic farm management, harvest coordination and reporting.

Each family’s land and farm company belong to that family. We provide services to them under a written contract.

3. What we don’t do

• We don’t offer financial products or investments. Nothing on this website is an offer or invitation to invest, a regulated financial product, or financial, tax, legal or immigration advice. We don’t run pooled funds, and we don’t sell shares in farms.
• We don’t promise returns. Farming depends on weather, prices, pests, disease, fire and public decisions outside our control. Any example of costs, yields, prices or income on this site, or in material we send you, is illustrative and based on stated assumptions. It is not a forecast or a promise.
• We don’t decide on funding. EU and national funding decisions are made by the public authorities. We prepare and submit applications, but we can’t promise that any application will be approved, or by when.
• We don’t offer visas or residency services. Buying farmland in Portugal does not give you residency, and it does not qualify for a residence permit for investment. Please take independent legal advice on immigration.

Figures about our operations (hectares, trees, projects, prices and the like) describe our work as at the date given, and come from our own records or from cited public sources. We update them as things change, but they may not always be current. Market prices are given for context, and past prices don’t indicate future ones.

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for decisions made on the basis of this website alone. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we aren’t responsible for their content.
